Thank you, Queen of America, for taking in these little ones. It takes a special person to foster. I’ve always had cats, usually Siamese but I love them all. For the first time in my 66 years on this Earth, I don’t have a cat. We adopted a LhasaDoodle a couple of years ago (from the city shelter) and he HATES cats even when they are across the street in their own yard; he tries to get out to get to them. I tried to adopt an adult Siamese from the same shelter but had to take her back. Whiskers couldn’t stand it. He was doing everything he could to get to her and kill her. She would just back into a corner and hiss at him; never trying to attack him or even swatting at him. I had to keep her in a separate room with the door closed for 3 days, because I brought her home on a Friday and the city shelter was closed all weekend plus the Monday after (it was a holiday weekend). She was so sweet and loving, but Whiskers wasn’t having it at all. I’m hopeful that someday I can have a cat and be able to rescue/foster both dogs and cats. I’m sure I would be a foster fail with a lot of them!
Bets is just ANNOYING!!!
