Please pardon the previous blank (if it even appears). Steve could be my husband’s twin–easily: mouth in motion before brain. Kind of like I have fingers in motion before brain sometimes, thus the blank.

Grokenstein: Maybe Corey doesn’t CARE! The election is over–contentious or not.

m_ortal: Thank you for pointing out the apron note. I didn’t even notice it!

They removed Elderberries from our local statewide newspaper a long time ago. I still miss it and am glad to have found it here. Dusty rules!

Yes, global warming is a hoax. Those of you who have stated so are to be commended. Shows you have been doing your homework.

Guess it depends on which way you’re facing. I’m facing south, so on my monitor, they’re heading west too! To quote Jim Morrison, “People are strange …”

    Roger,

You could very well be correct about that. Some people prefer the little breeds, but the old gal likes the big one. My son has an enormous rott.

You’re right, of course. This isn’t the proper place.

Thank you to our veterans and those who are currently serving to protect our way of life.

Thank you. I don’t know about Roger, but I much prefer big dog to pup. I’ll take it in the spirit in which it was meant though. How to get the “liberals” and “conservatives” to agree on anything will never take place as long as people like Possum Pete keep name-calling.

    cwcarlson:

Liberals, conservatives … who cares? We need to join our voices for ALL of the people in this country. Big business and big politics run everything. This is not a country where ANY man (or woman) can become President now. America needs to wake up before it’s too late. I don’t have an answer, but perhaps someone brighter than I could figure out a way to join forces rather than tear each other down. We all live here by choice. Complaining does nothing but foster more resentment.

Are we even certain we’ll be here in another four years? I feel a very real doom over the state of our country. We had no choices in the elections–and never will have again as long as big business and big government are in charge. People need to WAKE UP.
