I work for a Votech school. My students are getting hired while in still in high school to make living wages. More training less “educating”. Let’s stop pushing off adulthood.

Thinking for yourself is so over rated when the government can think for you.

I teach middle school gifted and always play the devils advocate in political discussions. When my liberals say the rich should pay more because they have so much…I always ask if because they study, get honor roll and work hard in school would the be willing to give up their As to students who play video games etc. The answer is always the same…no I worked hard for my grade, they should study too. They are quick to add and so are my conservatives…if someone got sick and needed help to catch up they would be more than willing to tutor them to get them back on track but lazy should not be confused with down on your luck.

Washington crossed the Delaware and won. Does that mean that even if it looks bleak for Romney that he will be victorious?

Finally the missing link in why children are failing. Children are wharehoused in day care, brought to bars late at night and toted around like an accessory and now I am supposed to teach your child everything from compassion to table manners, let alone math and science. If I have to get measured then so should the parents.
