Dumb smart aleck thought he could be a steam drill.

I frequently check to see if anything new has been put up.Especially since the passing of QE2, somewhat expected seeing the cast welcoming her to their world.

“Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me” on NPR. When they take breaks from doing the live show, they edit and blend in material from previous episodes to fill the Saturday time slot on the local stations. They don’t just air one program, but material culled from several prior shows blended into one.

The reason that it’s always in the last place you look is because after you find it, you quit looking for it.

Woo-Hoo! I kept it in the list of comics I follow, and accidentally clicked on it. Pleasant surprise

Whether or not the bumblebee is capable of conscious thought, I do know what goes through its mind when it hits the windshield.

    Its stinger.

Michigan was given the Upper Peninsula as a result of the “Toledo War.”A dispute between Ohio and Michigan over the position of the state line. Michigan wanted it to be farther south, and the lowest geographic point of Lake Erie. The two state militias were lined up ready to go to battle over what was called the “Toledo Strip” about 10 miles wide. The line was left where it was, and Michigan was given the UP as compensation (Wisconsin was still a territory, not a state)I’ve been to Toledo. I’ve been to the UP.Michigan won that round.
