The version printed in my newspaper this morning had the following statement (emphasis added) “I could have sworn I LIED down in the sunshine…”. Obviously someone has corrected his grammar.
Whenever I asked how to spell a word, I was told to look it up in the dictionary. How can you look up a word in the dictionary if you don’t know how to spell it?
