Well, I spent 2 hours in a doctor’s office Christmas Eve morning waiting to see a doctor to get medicine to help with mine. I did, and I’m finally (after almost 2 weeks of dealing with it) starting to get slightly better.
The last time my daughter started asking that on a road trip, I just told her “yes”. I didn’t hear the question again although we were on the road for two more hours.
I take out the candy my kids won’t eat (or I don’t want them to eat) and I send it to work with my husband. The rest is put up in a cabinet and given out during snack/dessert times, if they want it.
My youngest started kindergarten 2 weeks ago. The first day I missed both of mine but by the second day, I was enjoying being able to get things done without having to stop every few minutes to take care of some need or crisis!
It’s not a parade unless candy is being thrown at you…
