   Spoiler Alert! @rekam: It’s amazing you said that! Petunia actually does not end up adopting, however, I came home from that trip determined to adopt. The journey had many twists and turns, and my beautiful Haitian son came home in November 2009 and is sleeping soundly in the next room.

   This one is supposed to be a bombardment of memories of stupid things she’s done in her life: dyeing her fleece green, grabbing the electrified fence, shearing (always traumatic), eating a burger, and touching a frozen metal pole with her tongue.
