Well, that’s alright. I did think they looked a little dated…thought maybe BW was just stubbornly refusing to expose his characters to the horrors of such modern technological monstrosities as “THE EYE-POD” and “THE BLACK BURY”…
I’ve only just discovered this site and am very surprised (and exceedingly pleased) to find that Watterson is still drawing these lovely things. I remember picking up “Something Under The Bed Is Drooling” when I was about eight, and that was it. Nothing like it, just something beautiful. I’m such a sap, a few of these strips have even moved me to tears. Of course, most of them just make me grin like a melon, and there are so few things that can really do that, without fail. Oh, a boy and his tiger…what more could anyone ask for?
