When I grew up in the military as a brat and then served, even the hint of speaking in a partisan way was severely frowned upon! Sadly, we have moved from “we, the United States” to “me, the United Stares.”
David Brooks pointed out last night (Apr. 10) on PBS Newshour that this new commission will only have Trump supporters who have taken their oath of fealty so what ever they come up won’t have the confidence of the majority of American people!
The question is still when this become such a problem? The real answer is that it isn’t such a big problem. I always thought it was the conservatives who were always questioning the costs of laws when the marginal gains were minimal! Oh yeah, guess that was only if they disagreed with the intent of the law.
LOL the big problem was trying to figure which line came off of which line and the direction. It did teach structure though and like most education its importance is not readily apparent until a later time.
Damned if you do and damned if you don’t! I might add doubly damned if you are Obama…I can’t remember when the dislike, not maybe make that hatred of any single president seems to have been so great. I just wonder why?
