having just finished Antigone in my english class, the gouging part of this comic forcefully reminds me that the Ancient Greeks seemed wayyy to fond of eye gouging.. shudder

whoa! Where’d the books in the last panel come from? They seem like they’re positioned where they’d be visible in the other panels…

in my school, the teachers wouldn’t accept anything they couldn’t read…

dstufff: That’s what I did (and do) too! And if it has to be typed, make the margins just BARELY bigger, do 12.5 size font instead of 12, 2.15 spaced instead of double spaced, a line between paragraphs instead of just going down and indenting, and double spaces (two spacebar taps) inbetween words. Not a noticeable difference when compared to other essays, but it made the essay longer, especially ones that required 7 or 8 pages.

    no, I mean:

in MLB baseball, it’s reduntant because the B stands for baseball, so it’s saying baseball baseball.

in NHL hockey, the H stands for hockey, so the hockey is doubled.

in NFL football, the F stands for football, so the football is doubled.

I know there are different leagues, I was just commenting how their are repeated words in the names.

Don’t forget some other redundancies, such as:

MLB Baseball NHL Hockey DL List NFL Football

    and a lot more…

I believe that Peter is about to get a lesson in math just through Jason’s cost calculations

Hopefully he’ll pay attention, he needs it.

When I’m in a bad mood, I say something like, “I’m gonna be in my room for a while, please leave me alone” or something similar, then read, draw, daydream, stare at the ceiling or do my homework, and get over it. Usually, though, it’s because I’m mad at someone, not from a bad day.

I abosolutely HATE it when people wallow in their misery, or, even worse, dramatize every little bitty thing. They rant about every problem they’ve had their entire life, about how they never get anything their way after one time of not getting what they want , and so on. There are better ways to let people know something’s wrong, such as joking about it, not imposing the bad mood on other’s if possible, and not saying anything about what’s wrong unless asked.

Sorry, I really had to rant about that. I’ve just returned to high school, otherwise known as The Hub of a Million Dramas, and have yet to adjust. I know that all of you probably know what I’m talking about. ;P

I wonder what Jason’s reaction to no longer being the only top student in the family will be.
