Let’s get back to women’s rights. Can you imagine the uproar if laws were passed banning condom use (think child support) or closing down prostate cancer treatment programs for low income men?And what’s the difference again?

LOL-even Craigslist wouldn’t have ANY Hermes bag for $5, let alone a Birkin. No. Don’t ask me why they are so “valuable.”

Doesn’t that mom know grandchildren might imply she’s getting, well, OLDER? Better rethink that.

It would take all 4 to have one idea. It still wouldn’t be a GOOD idea…

Running out of rich people? As long as rich people aren’t running out of money, why is this a problem, Conservatives? Stuart, if corporations get human rights (ie, can donate to & support candidates with as much $ as they want to spend), they should pay human taxes at human rates, which they don’t. Cultures may not be equal, but laws in America are supposed to be. Yeah, who needs minimum wage laws when the Republicans et al want to create a class of serfs to work on their estates and plantations while they send skilled jobs overseas. You people should be ashamed of yourselves.

Go read a little Studs Terkel, learn a little labor history, read de Tocqueville’s “Democracy in America”…and then shut up.

At least Mary Francis is trying to think things through. She just starts at Confusion and drives straight into Unworkable.

yeah, but unions are bad, unAmerican, etc. The real purpose of those stupid team-building exercises is to develop an aversion to forming groups that might force corporations to stop exploiting the people who create the profits they reap for themselves. Just saying….

I’m in a small group (business)–our premiums have gone up 35-40% or more every year. So every year we have to select a lesser-benefits plan to pay only 3-5% more. Pretty soon we’ll be paying $1500.00/month for nothing.

    What needs fixing again?
