Don’t know a lot of women, huh?

    A) Lots of them read (and Andy was an English major with a frequently-demonstrated love of reading), lots of them read fantasy, and lots of them have read the Lord of the Rings.

    B) The movies were extremely popular in the early 2000s (around the time Andy would’ve been in college) and they were in fact very popular with women.

    C) She has a son who is very into LotR. Even if A) and B) weren’t enough to get her to read the books or see the movies, she almost certainly would’ve ended up seeing them with Jason at some point, certainly enough to get this most extremely basic of information about the characters.

Fritzi’s really grasping at straws if she lumps foosball in with “sports and fitness.”

Nah, the world’s first billionaire (counting in US dollars) was John D. Rockefeller, more than a century ago. There were many billionaires in 2000, such as Bill Gates ($60 billion), Larry Ellison ($47 billion), Paul Allen ($28 billion), and Warren Buffet ($25.6 billion).
