You know that America has lost it’s work ethic when a 1 year old comic is posting reruns. I miss Charles Schultz. During the life of the strip, Peanuts, Schulz took only one vacation, a five-week break in late 1997 to celebrate his 75th birthday; reruns of the strip ran during his vacation, the only time reruns occurred while Schulz was alive.
oo you got me started now. ;-) because this is exactly how they (the self-righteous Right) do it, too. Of their own free will, they hang some controversy inciting sign, then when questioned about it, claim they were forced to do so by the Left, when really the rest of us out there could not care less about their petty, angry issues.
Well said, piksea!! Today’s comic is totally off the mark, suggesting an “issue” where there is none. At least none beyond whatever trumped up gripe the self-righteous Right wants to pretend is foisted upon them by the imaginary “far Left”
for those of use old enough to remember, this is a “re-run” of an old, old Wiz of Id Sunday comic – from say, 1980 +/- 4 years. The original was a little more subtle, w/ the King discovering the prank and then calling for the royal bed maker. “What made you think you could get away with it?” the King demanded. “I’ve been doing it for 10 years…” was the reply.
agree that Romney got the spin award last night. But used it effectively to win this debate. Clearly both Trudeau and Obama misjudged Romney’s ability to “never mind” his past assertions.
See? this is another example of how badly the B.C comic strip has lost its way. Greece and the Euro don’t come into being for at least another 10,000 years. The capitol of the B.C. comix used to be CLAMS. We miss you, Johnny!!
lol!! and probably correct, too.
