Actually, there’s a company (maybe a few of them) that yank the engines out of old-style “car-sized-cars” and put a whole bunch of batteries, an electric motor, and the rest of the necessary stuff into the holes. Works like a charm. Makes the “make a teeny little car so we don’t need as many batteries” school of thought look a little silly. A friend and I drove his converted Chrysler New Yorker from LA to Bakersfield and back, up and over the Grapevine both ways, with this “low-tech” approach.
Joe, you’re either too early or too late. Long ago, boys and girls were taught on the assumption they had different roles and needs. Then we decided they were all the same, and girls were treated as mildly incompetent boys. Now we “know” there are learning differences and boys are treated as thoroughly dysfunctional girls.
