Is someone new doing the illustrating? The color also seems more intense.

Why is Pluggers missing from my email feed since Dec. 31?

I’ve been wondering this for a few years….I’ve read Peanuts since before college (1965)….over the decades there have been some I recall…but the last 5 years or so…its as if its a brand new strip to me……if its my memory (I’m 73)…then its the only place my memory is failing……anyway…I’m enjoying (still) the ‘new’ old adventures of Peanuts!

Despite the mandate, several friends in CA tell me they see many still not wearing masks, particularly at southern CA beaches.

Oops, almost forgot another point….in 1918 both tobacco chewing and smoking were extremely popular……..masks were constantly removed to perform both.

First of all, most masks worn in 1918 were home made, single layered masks. Those that even bothered to wear masks wore them over and over never suspecting they were walking petrie dishes as masks were rarely washed (especially using soap). Those that wore them, wore them on and off while in public. Keep in mind masks now filter far smaller particles, not like in 1918 when masks were as protective as pur current t-shirts. Next time you have an operation, would you prefer your surgeon to go unmasked? I’m sure he’d feel more comfortable.

Why isn’t Flo speaking through the mask? They way she is wearing it makes it useless.

Could someone make the text a little easier to read on this strip? It looks xeroxed circa 1975.
