Wow, moving from Rat for Prez to… this? What a day to run a weak strip!

@corzak (also @rightisright)If you know that a landslide is coming, then that means you know exactly how people will vote, which means that this election will be illegitimate due to voter fraud. Think before you post.

McCoy makes a great comment, and rather than focusing on that comment, the GoComics talking heads start slinging mud. Is there ever anything approaching an intelligent discussion around here?

I’ve never laughed once at this strip.

Trout - Iraq wasn’t the most well-thought out move, but it did pass with BIPARTISAN support in the Senate.

We originally entered Afghanistan to get bin Laden. Y’know, the guy behind 9/11?

And I’m pretty sure Clinton started the ball rolling on both Afghanistan and the deregulation of the financial industry.

Before you blame anything on anybody, look at the bigger picture – circumstances, pressure, etc. After 9/11, Bush was under intense pressure to do something to punish those who dared attack America. Afghanistan was his answer. And it, too, had bipartisan support.

Let’s not forget that Bush has the distinction of having the HIGHEST approval rating in Pres. history – above 90 percent. Granted, it was in the year or so after 9/11, but still. :P

What I don’t understand is how the AZ law is racist. Last I checked, police couldn’t ask for someone’s citizenship papers until AFTER they had committed a crime (i.e., speeding, burglary, etc). What the people who hate AZ’s law seem to forget is that these “immigrants” are ILLEGAL ALIENS.

RE: Jesus comment up there, I’m pretty sure Jesus would uphold the law of the land, not cave in to a bunch of people who are breaking the law simply by being here.

DougMN, what’s wrong with caring about your career? As wrong as Beck and Limbaugh are, they are not politicians, they are entertainers. If they stopped spewing their trash, their ratings would decline, and eventually the ratings would be so bad that their respective shows would be cancelled. I’ll say it again: They are businessmen. They should be thinking about advancing their careers.

I can’t help but notice how almost NO ONE addressed the issue the cartoon brought up, namely, all of Obama’s failed election rhetoric. Instead, they avoid the issue by bashing Bush (who shouldn’t be blamed as much as his intel officers. He was, after all, acting on intel they provided him.)

So wait… the founding fathers went and contradicted the Constitution which they wrote in some early laws? Laws that had to be approved by Washington? Seems a bit far fetched.

He actually did say that last summer. He said it “wouldn’t add a dime to the deficit.”
