I have loved this strip for years, and am devastated that our paper just replaced it with some really terrible piece of junk. Thank you for letting me have my continuing daily fix of the Patterson family.
Our paper has suddfenly replaced my favorite strip, For Better or for Worse, with this strip – without any public input. I have’t had time to judge the content, but the drawing style is totally unacceptably stupid. It’s hard for me to look at the strip, so after this first week I’m ready to skip it entirely, and the paper has edged a step closer to what I suspect is its ultimate goal – getting rid of one more print customer so they can go to an all-online publication. It’s really too bad, because the story line may be OK, but I just can’ty stand the weird drawings. Wish the author would just do a blog to relive his army past.
