of course there is gerrymandering but that is not why democrats got a million more votes than republicans. each district has the same number of people in it. each distict chose one person to represent them. it is meaningles to suggest that because democrats had a higher turnout in their districts that that means anything. in 2010 the republicans got more total votes and they will again in 2014. all it means is in 2012, democrats were more energized.

how soon they forget Diana Feinstein objected to the electoral count in Ohio in 2004 and delayed counting the electoral votes for one day. Was she denying reality?

In 46 states and the District of Columbia, President Obama did worse in 2012 than he did in 2008, winning by less or losing by more. The vote in most counties, too, shifted to the political right.
how do you like that math!

Although Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney was of conscription age during the Vietnam War, he neither was drafted for nor enlisted in the U.S. armed forces at that time. He received a total of four draft deferments between 1965 and 1970, three for academic studies (i.e., student deferments) and one for serving as a ‘minister of religion’ while performing Mormon missionary work in France. By the time his deferments ended, Mitt Romney’s birth date had been drawn at number 300 in the Selective Service lottery; since the highest lottery number called for that group was 195, Romney was not drafted into the service.(from snopes)

Romney went to the NAACP annual meeting and personally said that the past LDS policy you are talking about was wrong and he did not and does not and never did agree with it.
Do you want public addresses from all NFL team owners and baseball team owners about their participation in their aversions to black team members in the past?
It was wrong. Romney publically said so even though it had been decades after LDS dropped the racist policy.
the number have heard most often of the cost of illegal aliens on the USA is 209 billion dollars a year. if a wall even stops a tiny portion of illegals from Mexico, Mexico will have paid for the wall!Make no mistake, a wall will stem the tide of illegals.
