I presume your feelings of threat of being “conquered” by Islam have some roots in being part of another religion–Christianity, perhaps? Well, as a Christian, I will pray for you and everyone with such hate inside of them. There is nothing wrong with defending one’s country, but that is not what you are preaching. You are preaching intolerance, irrationality, and poison.
Nothing is black and white. It is ridiculous to live life in terms of binaries. Obama isn’t God and Bush was not Satan, or vice versa. Just because someone becomes president, he or she is not suddenly superhuman. They do the best they can based upon their beliefs and the circumstances and resources afforded to them. Some do better than others, and citizens and journalists MUST be critical of the government’s decisions, but we do not have to spew hate and incredible propaganda to do so.

I think the artist is suggesting that these “more constructive opportunities” Dobbs referred to in his speech consist of (figuratively) picking up s**t for the Republican party. What big opportunities could Dobbs possibly have on the horizon? Books? A little political shmoozing? In his speech, Dobbs gave the impression that people were clamoring for his invaluable insight on running the world. It seems more likely that CNN was clamoring to get rid of him (according to NPR reports). Dobbs was undermining CNN’s place as a “middle of the road” option among networks like Fox News and MSNBC.
