   @Sandfan: As teacher I am dumbfounded that most students can tweet but unable to perform cursive writing. What happens in the future when they cannot close legal/formal business without a signature? Do we simply revert back to the use of an “X”? Only 3:12 of my 8TH graders can sign their name. :(

   Amen!!! I love this! I should post this in my mathematics/science class. My students won’t listen to me, but maybe they will listen to our man, Huey! The future is about science and math… goodbye to humanities!! I’m doing my best to help to encourage my students, especially math where they have the greatest deficit. When they (middle school students) tell me they want to be video game inventors, I tell them they better hit the math book as math is part of the game of invention!

   Luv it, as a mother and teacher! I see this temperament often; youngsters believing they instantaneously get what they want.

   Doesn’t matter that The Boondocks cartoons are politically outdated. They still have the punch! I hope McGruder returns to publication.
