Best birthday present! To visit gocomics for the first time in a couple weeks and find that Teresa is back!

    I missed you! ♥

As I recall from high school, Karo syrup is a primary ingredient for a particular recipe for fake blood. And this ad says it “puts a little bit of you into every dish you cook”. I have to say, I’m slightly creeped out.

RE: blog. The Carrot picture is from a wonderful book called Stranger in the Woods. It is full of photos and has a charming story, as I recall. I bought it for my little brother about 10 years ago, I think.

Teresa, So that weird mask the kid is wearing on the blog reminded me that I’ve been meaning to bring your attention to a certain video. The song is beautiful, the video is bizarrely wonderful. I don’t know your taste in music, but I feel pretty confident that the video is certainly your style. Me? I adore it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4IT3aJ90aA

Frog Blog: The head shape of that dancing leaf is unmistakeable. His name is Meelo and he is demonstrating to Avatar Korra how to “be the leaf” in the wind. (Later in the series he fights a bad guy by …urm… what is best described as “fartbending”)

Found it! That “attack” on the blog was driving me crazy. I knew I’d seen it before. It is from the absolute trippiest version of Alice in Wonderland I have ever seen. They used stop animation on a doll when Alice is little.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLcjPSk60dMThis particular moment is at 43:50

And while I’m on a commenting roll… I’ve just remembered: I ran into Emery the other day (the hula hooping busker), and you’ll be happy to hear that he’s grown a massive, awesome beard that he kept in a knot under his chin.

@cleokaya Re: my clip. It was for a 48 hour film challenge – a 6 minute film written, filmed and edited within 48 hours, which also had to include a designated character, a prop and a line of dialogue, with the genre pulled out of a hat. This was my only scene. If you go to the actual youtube page, you should be able to scroll down and find the full film in that playlist.I just refrain from directly linking from this account or putting my name in indexible text to skirt around the google beast’s bots.
