I thought it was Spanish and the accent mark on the “I” just slipped out of place, just like many Spanish writers let it slip. I like the Long vowel “OH” idea.
It looks like a Swedish/Viking ceremony to me. I’m surprised that margueritem didn’t comment on it, since she is Swedish.It is more often celebrated at winter solstice and not at equinox.
Actually, the dog was thinking of marking the plant (typical dog action), but Fritz knew what was coming and beat the pup to the draw. No raised legs here!
