To Jeff M. and Bill H. – I’m a recovering cartoonist AND sportswriter, and couldn’t resist any longer telling you what a dynamite comic you produce. I think it’s dropped off the sports pages I usually read because it tells too much truth inside its humor. (As a Penn State native, I especially appreciate “Enormous State University.”) – But it’s mainly the delicious combination of tell-it-like-it-is and comedic subtlety that makes “Tank McNamara” worth some kind of near-celestial prize.
