@howtheduck- I’m sure you’re the person who was essentially ‘chased away’ from this board for repeatedly attacking others regarding the views they posted. Please don’t start critiquing my posts. That type of behavior serves no purpose…except to perhaps, again receive the reaction you got before.

…..and no…I no longer wanted anything to do with that cute set of animal cards..

I’m sure if we wait it out, a serious ‘talk’ is forthcoming. The Patterson family is a GOOD family..and they’re involved parents. Mom & Dad weren’t there when this happened—so give “them” the benefit of doubt that a lesson is on the way. I once took a deck of cute animal rummy cards from my Aunt’s house (she’s now 80…I’m 45)…these cards were stuffed away in a game closet FULL of so many things, you had to dig through the shelves. I secretly walked out to our family car & placed the card set under the seat of the car…not knowing that my Dad saw me…and wondered why I had walked out to the car before we were ready to leave & head home…. When the family walked out to “hug and kiss everyone bye”, my Dad announced that I “had something” that I might need to give to my Aunt…when I tearfully returned them, she hugged me and said I could have them…that she hadn’t even remembered having them. I still remember the nauseated feeling…and those animal cards. Public embarrassment & being held accountable for your own actions are both powerful teachers.

I like that they’re in the same bed..this way, should she need him, he’s right there…Being in the same house, he’s already exposed to the cooties, so why not be there to snuggle & provide some body heat? =D ….We tried sleeping apart when either of us had a cold or cough…and neither one of us slept worth a hoot…So— ‘through sickness & health, through good times & bad’ … <3

Fluffer-Nutter sandwiches are awesome! Peanut-butter, marshmallow cream and a thinly sliced banana…on super-soft bread. Mmmm good stuff! …Also, if most viewers will check out this site, and view Lynn’s profile, yes…these ideas have been run before. She retired, THEN, “semi-unretired” ..so now, she’s perfecting her prior artwork and making some subtle changes. Her story lines are so down-to-Earth…and she’s an amazing cartoonist. Her strip is worth viewing again & again!

Absolutely, JanCinVV..I thought the same thing as I read the many posts yesterday…It’s always refreshing to see that people can agree to disagree, and keep things nice.

Our little Rat Terrier does this..it’s a dog’s way of ‘protecting their property’…sniffing & alerting that some critter had crossed onto her yard. It’s cute..and a natural instinct of a pack animal. Dogs, despite how much we pay for them, are pack animals..My favorite behavior is the ‘turning in circles’ before laying down…Took a bit of research on my part to find that they have scents in their paws & are laying down a boundary of scent before they rest, alerting other pack animals of their presence as they sleep.

I love this cartoon..and the commentary board =D It brings a subtle reminder that there are things in life / around us that can still bring a smile to our faces…simply based on the innocence that hits us upon immediately taking the experience in…BEFORE we analyze it to death.

THIS is the beauty in Lynn’s strip….the innocence of it all BEFORE we pick it to pieces =D
