   Most restaurants have hamburgers, in addition to other fare. And even back then, most hamburger joints offered chicken and/or fish sandwiches.

   It’s either the lettering or my eyes. I had to look at ‘balloon town’ several times to see it wasn’t ‘balloon to win’ which made no sense.

   Reminds me of something that humorist Tom Lehrer said in the 60s about then recent plays that dealt with the inability to communicate. After listening to various characters go on for pages about how they can’t communicate, he felt that if someone can’t communicate, they should shut up about it.

   You need to take time for both in life. You have to have a social life to get the family which is the important part of saving your people.

   Actually, there are vocal versions of this song. I have a live album of Dave Brubeck and Carmen McRae. She sings several of his famous instrumentals. I think the album was Live at the Basin Street East.

    Finding your passion and making it your life’s work is a great idea, but not always possible. You might have to do other things while trying to achieve your dreams. Learn to be passionate about what you have to do and doing your best at it. No matter what the job, find honor and pride in a job well done.
