I notice the objective analysis Strod refers to concludes the U.K. is ranked 3rd in the world in total crime victims as a percentage of the population.

    http://www.nationmaster.com/compare/United-Kingdom/United-States/Crime

The Politifact article says “For England and Wales… This produced a rate of 775 violent crimes per 100,000 people… For the United States, we used the FBI’s four standard categories for violent crime that Bier cited. We came up with a rate of 383 violent crimes per 100,000 people.”

Liberal gun control I guess. :) No wonder the UK has one of the highest crime rates in the world.

Hmm, I see there’s a resident liberal here. I bet you must be rejoicing in the streets that Obama’s keeping intact all the Bush-era policies, huh? He tried to keep troops in Iraq past Bush’s withdrawal Status of Forces deadlines, kept troops in Guantanamo, broke all his promises on a public option/healthcare on C-Span/bipartisanship/transparency/no earmarks/no backroom deals, reauthorized the Patriot Act 3 times after he said he’d change it, etc. Nice work giving Bush a 4th term.

    Smartphone can’t fix stupid.

Sadly, Brewster would be a considerable improvement over many current politicians, especially Democrats. Better a complete moron than hopelessly corrupt and despicably evil.

And like Bush’s Stimulus, Obama’s consisted largely of tax cuts, 1/3 of it. Even their Stimulus bills were somewhat similar. Even though Obama campaigned against free trade and outsourcing, while in Congress he was voting for free trade agreements. And once elected he did an about-face and became openly free trade. I repeat, on economics and foreign policy the two might as well be twins.

Exact same stuff liberals blame Bush for is stuff Obama voted for while in Congress, and has continued to support while President. Talk about a double standard. If liberals would take off their blue-tinted goggles and look honestly at what Obama does instead of just what he says they’d see how scarily similar Obama is to Bush on economic issues and foreign policy.

I bet liberals would like to forget that Obama while in Congress was a pro-Bush agendas guy, huh? That Obama voted for 10 of the 11 Iraq War spending bills he came across.

    http://www.factcheck.org/2008/07/the-truth-on-troop-support/

That he voted for the bailouts.

    http://www.factcheck.org/2012/02/obama-white-house-full-of-wall-street-executives/

That he voted for the Patriot Act and had it reauthorized multiple times as president, and seeks more extreme extensions than the Republicans.

    http://www.thenation.com/blog/158381/obama-takes-wrong-turn-civil-liberties-adopting-worse-patriot-act-stance-gop#

That he voted for 19 of Bush’s budget bills.

    http://edition.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/13/wall.bush-obama/index.html

That Bush also had sweeping healthcare reform passed and pressured through Congress using backroom deals to buy votes. It was the biggest expansion of Medicare since the program was passed in 1965.

“The economy is still a work in progress but 1 presidential term was not going to fix that mess.”

That’s not what Obama campaigned on. He told you guys he had solutions and pulled a bait and switch on you suckers halfway through, stop deluding yourselves. As for Bin Laden, remind you of anybody? He wants us to be in the Middle East but doesn’t want to provide evidence of why we’re there. Bush didn’t want to show evidence of WOMD, Obama doesn’t want to show evidence of Bin Laden’s death (or anything else, really). You liberals have a pretty shallow concept of transparency.

The fact of the matter is that FOX is closer to the center on issues like abortion, evolution, and religious freedom. According to Gallup’s latest results, only 25% of Americans say abortion should be legal under any circumstances and 13% under most circumstances. The other 62% disagree. Only 24% say abortion should be legal after the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

39% say it’s definitely true that God created human beings in their present form over the past 10,000 years, and another 27% say this is probably true. Altogether, 46% of Americans are young earth creationists, and another 32% believed God guided evolution. Only 15% believe in atheistic evolution.

76% of Americans support public display of the Ten Commandments. 76% of Americans support voluntary prayer in public schools.
