krisjackson, this strip ran for decades. I read it all the years of my childhood, from kindergarten on after I finished high school. Then I moved to an area where it was not carried, but the strip went on. When my mother sent a package to me, it was padded by the Sunday comics and for years after I left home I would get a fresh look at L’il Abner , Daisy Mae, Dogpatch and the Schmoos. Remember this is where Sadie Hawkins and Sadie Hawkins Day originated. It didn’t do that overnight.
