Speak for yourself! I love Peekaboo. She reminds me of a cat I used to own. She was all white with 1 blue eye and 1 green eye. She was with me from 6 weeks of age till she died at age 20 years. Had she lived 3 more months she would have been 21. She, like Peekaboo, was a snuggle lover.
Back when we were young and stupid we would sign up to donate at lunchtime when they came to our workplace. We were given 4 hours of “recovery time” after we donated. We would stay the 1/2 hour they asked us to stay and then we would go to ChiChi’s for lunch and have margaritas. Then we would go across the street to the mall and shop our little hearts out. I would still be donating but because of all the drugs I take for my various health issues so they won’t take my blood anymore. It’s hard being old.
Dear Richard, Having been forced to leave a job I loved for health reasons, I know you are having a hard time with this. I also know that it wil turn into a relief as you find time you did not have before for other things which will give you peace. Spend more time with your family. Go outside and enjoy the sunshine. Meanwhile, I will still be praying for miracles for both of us .
My 3 cats watch as I leave the pantry and only follow if the can in my hand is tuna fish. The do recognize the cans. Tuna is the only thing they eat that comes in a can and they are not interested in anything else.
I haven’t been following this comic for very long but I have noticied that this woman never smiles or says anything positive to her family. Is she always so unhappy? She does not seem to be very giving to her husband and son.
My Dad is a Vietnam Vet who did 2 tours. He got a hug and a “thank you” from me this morning.
It makes me sad to think that we will always have wars, and hence, more veterans. I wish no one had to go through what he did.
