With his mouse problems, I’d say Ziggy needs a whole litter of cats. . . maybe more.

Simple. . . he used to be a pet bird. . . or was it the cat?

That’s true… machines are infuriating in the way that they calmly inform you that you’ve lost hours or days worth of work… or worse… then politely refuse to help. Or in the way that they calmly repeat the same error message over and over again. Or one of a hundred other things they do without a tint of real remorse.

But then, they calmly obey unreasonable requests repeated over and over again too. So, I suppose it’s not all bad.

‘dun know… that may still be too high a goal…

Never know… that may be raising expectations in that area.

Or, we can look at it this way…

    On the food chain:

cat > fish human > cat

We had to apply this logic to our dog and cat the couple times they got into a fight. Once the dog figured out the cat was off limits, the two figured out how to get along… when they wanted to, anyways =p.

Wasn’t this mouse dead already? I remember the cat wanted to toast him in a previous strip.

Oh, I don’t know gofinsc… he has a kind of plush toy cuteness to him =p

Yeah, technically the perspective is off, but this cartoon really wouldn’t have been as effective if the mice were too small or Ziggy was too big as a “correct” perspective would have rendered them.

More humorously, though, that interior decorator has me thinking of visiting relatives giving advice rather than a professional decorator.

Ziggy must have quite an arm to have for the dog to make that mistake!
