same here, Sara, I really wanted to see an arc in which Tiffany would start to grow up and get a clue. Everyone else in this strip has changed a bit, some have changed a lot, but Tiffany keeps on being someone who isn’t really that interesting.
It may be that this is just what Tiffany needs, to work with children. She may find that this is her niche. She responds positively to innocent people, as with Ox, and I think she could actually bloom around children.
repetitious, yes, but we’ve also come full circle, and it is back to Rufus and Twila, and it may all hinge on what Rufus has learned. Has he learned by listening to Flimm? Because Flimm did have a couple of good points.
They’’ve already been told that aloysium doesn’t actually harm Flimm, so the survivors are going to have to group together and figure out what does work.
I believe that Goatsucker is dead, but there is all dead and then there is body dead. Goatsucker may not need her physical body to cause grief to Flimm, and it’s possible that if Flimm is defeated, he can put everything and everybody, even a dead Goatsucker, to rights again.
Rufus has already seen one fake sister, and he pretty well knows that Flimm is up to no good, so he’s not likely to be as tempted as he would have been when he first started.
Flimm is talking through his hat. Rufus and Biff have both grown immeasurably on their quest, and the cavalry is still waiting in the wings: Oogalulu, Kreelit and Slynderfell are still in the fight, and they may rescue Lucius and Margo. Maybe even a deux machina in the form of Heckbender or Mr. Goatsucker or Derring-Do Dan.
Ooh, psychedelic. Well, it’s good that they ran into l’omino. Biff, smart little soul that he is, learned from the experience, that good-sounding things come with a catch.
