    My teachers (Oracle and other computer language ones) did pronounce it sequel as did the Microsoft training videos I have seen. My Linux comment comes from the MySQL people spelling out the letters. FYI we also were taught to pronounce GUI as gooey instead of saying the letters (though this one I never bought into since it sounds bad)

    Despite what Linux geeks call it, the language was invented at IBM and originally spelled SEQUEL (Structured English Query Language) and pronounced as such. Most Microsoft people pronounce it as “sequel” as well despite the acronym change.

    Actually, the rate of defects is calculated by the ratio of bad parts to good parts, so a 50% improvement would would be going from 2/10 to 1/10 bad parts, so Dilbert did do some good. Scott must have flunked math.

    Didn’t he just describe Trumps strategy in the last panel? Darby is better at predicting this election ahead of time than Scott Adams, who claims that he predicted everything back in August of this year. Darby wrote this in 2008

    Thankfully this isn’t true in Wisconsin where there’s a good work ethic. My friend in Florida needed a plumber for a remodel, and after a week and a half, none of the 4 he contacted called back.
