“That time off won’t work” – 8 months in advance? Really? There’s no way in hell two people with over five years in almost any job: A. Don’t have sufficient vacation time for a honeymoon. B. Can’t get the dates approved TWO-THIRDS OF A YEAR away.
Brad offered Jonah a night off, from parenting to party, Jonah accepted, knowing this is the same situation he’s left his kid in before with good results . . . Where would the drama be in that? If Brad’s tone of voice was matter of fact, which I suspect it would be, there is none. And the kid doesn’t get left alone in a room at a party full of drunken adults. Kind of a win-win here.
@AndiJ – It’s hard not to laugh when you get a call from a “Thomas Baker” or “John Wilson” and can barely understand him through the accent. It’s harder not to get P.O.‘d when you call for tech support and you know the guy you’re talking to is reading out of a manual, or is 8000 miles from the parts warehouse you need something from.
