Diabetes, in and of itself, isn’t normally a cause for deferral. It depends on what medications you’re using (ie, insulin).
Most doctors don’t know the blood bank regulations. Check with your local blood bank to see if you can donate. No more excuses like that.

Your dentist pinches your cheek? How neanderthal. Does he not numb the spot first with a little numbing agent on an applicator? My dentists have been doing that for at least the last 30 years. Never feel the injection.
Basal cell? Squamous? If your mole was either of those, you can donate once the spot has been removed and healed. Who told you that you cannot donate?
