Correction. It is a health issue, not a political issue. Men’s health is unquestionably no one’s business but their own (and maybe their families) but somehow, because we carry babies, our health is everyone’s concern?? I don’t think so.
Given that the one sign says “not pregnant” and the cop isn’t interested in the woman, the other sign must say “pregnant.” If this is TX or any other red state set on imposing their will on women, the cop probably intends to detain the woman until she gives birth.
Other nations have stopped laughing at us. We’ve reached a new low so all they can do is shake their heads in disbelief. What must it be like, from the outside, to watch a first world country regress 200 years? “For our next trick, ladies and gentlemen, we’ll overturn the 13th, 15th and 19th amendments and the southern states will bring back slavery.”
I don’t argue that there are sensible gun owners but many states, like TX, make it too easy for the unhinged to get guns. And if Democrats had “a political choke hold” there would be more laws preventing this violence.
Not quite. Vaccines are for the benefit of everyone, to stop the spread of a deadly virus. Who does an abortion ban benefit? The men that want to keep women barefoot and pregnant?
True. My first car was a ‘65 Nova and I felt like I was in a secret club or something, with the waves and nods to/from other classic car owners. Can’t say we ever stopped to chat in a parking lot, though.
I second that! I normally like Francis but I take offense at this accusation about having pets instead of kids. We chose this life and many of our pets have been rescues. We also give generously to foundations that help kids and animals. Where is the selfishness in that???
