Thank you, Mike Luckovich. Very nice tribute to these 4 gentlemen who made 60 Minutes fly by with interesting stories. I miss them all, and also the quality of what used to be the network news when people like them were on it.
Using the “if you see something, say something” poster on a day so soon after 14 people lost their lives because the neighbors of the terrorist couple were too PC minded to tell the authorities of their suspicions shows a complete lack of understanding of the problems this nation is facing. Will no longer take the time to read your strip, since you obviously have no empathy for your fellow citizens.
Indeed, Wally knows what to say to Max—and I’m glad he isn’t trying to be PC about it. That’s exactly how little kids think, and like it or not, especially little boys. It’s ok though, mine grew up to be good, law-abiding members of society in spite of it. All these family members are authentic, which is why the strip is so much fun to read.
The only guess I have is Sheriff Joe Arpaio, but only because of the badge.
