I started reading Kit ’n Carlyle just 1 month before it ended the original run. And I found Motley Classics from there. Now I miss them both.
It may be time to go to the Internet Archive (Wayback Machine), see if they are there, and find the time to read a year of comics each day — starting from the beginning.
Or enlist the help of a local clowder of fuzzy chainsaws (a.k.a., feral cats).
When the hay field next door was cut in the fall, my fuzzy chainsaws and the old “retired” Feral Tom Cat (who always scoffed at my feeble attempts to TNR) would disappear from the barn, engage the thundering herds of fleeing mice and chipmunks, and return to the barn the next day looking like they were the film extras playing Colonel Kurtz’s men from the movie Apocalypse Now.
And I would also find a mouse offering by my front door — not sure if it was a snack for me or rent for another year of room and board in the barn.
Even though they had canned food for breakfast & dinner (and unlimited kibble (which the trash pandas and possums would help themselves too), my girls loved “Fast Food” (mice, chipmunks, moles/voles, and an occasional stupid bird). They had plenty of energy to “Sport Hunt” every morning, evening, and night.
I love it when a plan comes together! Looks like the A-Team has accepted the mission.
