I thought the purpose of proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation was to give the reader a possibility of understanding precisely the idea we are trying to convey. Without that comma, you cannot be certain exactly what I am trying to say. You go comma… keep up the good, and worthy, and important work.
As a retired paramedic I can assure you that it is not unusual for a car to go up when it comes loose. I once watched a Saab go suddenly twenty feet into the air when it tripped and got its feet tangled together. In another incident I myself rode my motorcycle about twelve feet up into the air when the front wheel got caught in an invisible thing called physics. The Saab driver was dead the instant he hit the ground, and I was nearly so. When you instantly stop momentum, the energy is going to expend itself somehow,
