i like that it’s not all teary and dramatic. i’m sure they’ll miss each other, but why does that necessarily mean they have to have a bawling, sniffling, tear fest?i like how quill’s handling it. he’s keeping it simple so luann doesn’t have the aforementioned tear fest. besides, it’s not like it HAS to be goodbye forever. there’s email and skype. they’ll be graduating soon (theoretically) , so one of them could study abroad for college.
@ZacBSM no, she asked him to watch the door. the only way that would work is if he were outside stopping people from going in. otherwise he’s a greeter, not a guard.
it’s funny how many people are expecting a 16 year old NOT to be self absorbed in some way. or maybe living with my teenage niece (who i do love, btw) has jaded me to all teens.
while i can understand the frustration that some of you have with luann, i have to step to her defense. she’s a teenage girl growing up in these days. i’m only in my early 20s, so i don’t just remember what it’s like to be 16 and feeling unattractive, i still feel it sometimes. it’s cool that she can talk to her mom about stuff like this. i had my friends, but i wish i could have talked to my mom about this, but we don’t have that kind of relationship. i WILL say, however that she should stop jumping down quill’s throat about her insecurities. talking to him about it is one thing, but she’s obsessing about it to him.
oh, luann. always pulling bernices chain. and YAY! delta’s back! how long has it been?
