Interestingly enough, here in Germany a separate small table for the kids is colloquially known as “Katzentisch”, which literally translates to “cat’s table”
Not neccessarily. There are several different methods to draw a bow, it’s a question of preference, style and/or technique. Neither of these are exclusively “right” or “wrong”. Here they seem to use the “three under” method, where you don’t hold the arrow at all – in that case the nock of the arrow is pinching the string slightly so it is held in place, and the archer is positioning the index, middle and ring finger all below the arrow.
Actually, shooting with a bow is not about your dominant hand at all. It’s about your dominant eye. And the two dominances don’t neccessarily correspond, so there are many left-handed people with their right eye dominant. Look up “ocular dominance” for further information. :)I am in charge of archery at our local sports club and over the years have shown a bunch of kids how to shoot a bow, so it’s a topic close to my heart. ;-)
Kids reading this today probably won’t get the joke at all :-)
