You’re wrong about that. Things are changing for the better, new vehicles for the letter carriers, consolidating trips and processing to reduce operating costs. The network for USPS is massive when you consider how many hands touch a package from Miami to Seattle. If they tried to change everything all at once, it would be gridlock worse than when covid got. Unfortunately it takes time to make all of these changes.
Where I work we have daily meetings (on Zoom) to give our project updates and voice any problems we may have encountered. With 15 people in our group, we each get about 2 minutes. Sounds easy enough, right? Wrong. We’ll have a couple people that routinely spend 10 to 15 minutes telling their tales without really saying anything. They don’t ask for any input, they just ramble on making our 30 minute checkpoint into a 60 minute snoozefest. Sadly some of the team never get to bring up a problem they may be having because the boss may have another meeting and has to drop early. I blame our boss for lack of control. Very frustrating.
Just remember the two hands is a high five, not prayer hands. It would be very embarrassing to high five someone who is grieving over the loss of a loved one.
