It truly was hard to leave the TV but I worked as a defense contractor at an Air Force base. We were not allowed on base for several weeks so I was at home, wanting to “get in the game” but couldn’t. That was quite frustrating. When we were allowed back in and back to work, we had 12-18 hour days for nearly a year, waiting and watching for the next attack.
I lived in the US Mountain time zone at the time and was getting ready for work and my children ready for school. Went in to work and was sent home early.
Arlo may not be having the best holiday weekend.
