Larson didn’t hold a patent on peculiar comedy. If comics or television comedy restricted material, we’d be watching the Grass Growing Channel, not that THAT wouldn’t play better than some TV and/or movies these days. Keep ’em coming; your strip is a nice diversion from the mundane.
It’s sad that this comic is turning into, yet another, politically one-sided strip. I used to enjoy the exploits f the Crocs, Guard Duck, and Pig, but I sat through the seventies and eighties with Doonesbury and I swore, ‘Never again!’ You’re ruining a perfectly funny strip, Stephan, with your one-sided leans. What a waste!
Really? You’re going to throw in political views? The one thing I liked about “Pearls” was it wasn’t “Doonesbury”, but funny for the sake of being funny. That’s the way comics strips used to be, funny. Sorry to see you bow to left or right wing demonizing rhetoric Steven, I’ll have to cancel you off of my favorites.
