   @ Pipe Tobacco… Some folks do creative writing. I think you’re into creative reading! ;) would NEVER have come up with the cat being a part of the strip. Have had cats jump on me in the middle of the night…Takes a while to breathe normally again and decide or not if it’s worth an ER visit. hahaha

   Something no one has mentioned here. It seems the strips I love most have retired and now I’m reading re-runs. There’s a nagging little “fear” in a dark corner of my mind that Jimmy is wrapping everything up. Arlo gets his dream of owning a boat. Gene grows up and gets a family of his own with a lovely house and he’s complete with finishing his education and promising future. Janis has an adorable grandkid to dote upon… This is the kind of strip that could go on forever and I hope it does…so I sit and try to still that little voice that nags at me.

   “This has always been my DREAM!!!!” But sometimes, dreams are better left as dreams rather than a reality that turns into a nightmare. Now, Arlo is going to have to find another fantasy to take his mini-mental-vacations. Either way he turns, his daydreams of sailing have been altered.

   I guess Ludwig is heading for safety! …I didn’t think of that because Serendipity lays on my shoulders almost every time I sit down…or when I’m standing too. She just likes to ride there so she can see what’s going on.

   I vote on Buzzards… It’s so hot and dry out in New Mexico no one lays in the sun for very long cuz they don’t wanna tempt the buzzards.
