Cartoonists continue to add insight and happiness to our days. I remember lying on the floor, with my sister, with the cartoon section of the newspaper, going panel by panel every Sunday morning. Ah, memories of such good times. Thanks to all cartoon artists.
OK, so the mice on the right could easily reach the cheese, but they’d prefer to not more forward and discuss then investigate why the other mice still exist then blame each other while deciding who is really in charge.
They were trapped on the fence, waiting, waiting, waiting for someone to release them so they could spend their last days with friends and family. Just like us. That release is their freedom.
To me, the hill consists of wise and wonderful positive ideas that have accumulated. Very little attention was paid to them so they grew old and darkened with age. They are as good as they were when created, just wondering when they will be put into practice.
I’ve always loved this strip but lately. I love it even more. Wonderful approach to what we are living through, while worrying about the outcome. Thank you Mr. Pastis.
