   If you insist on making meta jokes for a newspaper comic strip, they should still be few and far between. The creator should appear in, at most, one panel per month.

   Why, you ask?

   Because otherwise, you get stupid, pointless, humorless storylines like this one.

   The window appeared out of nowhere, since it would have to be on the side of the wall we’re seeing in the first panel in order to be on the opposite side when we turn completely around in the second panel.

   Physics! Continuity!

   Epithet has more than one meaning, and if he literally said a “nice” one, that would require whoever wrote on the gravestone to go with the meaning “a characterizing word used in place of a name”. The other meaning is incompatible with the word “nice”.Hence, they did not follow directions.
