The Drug War is a blight on humanity, far worse even than drug abuse per se. It not only creates huge amounts of evil where there was none before, but it PREVENTS adopting a medically oriented, harm-reduction approach. MOST drug war activity is directed at marijuana, a nearly perfectly benign drug, which is positively BENEFICIAL, especially when compared with alcohol and tobacco! If we could eliminate one scourge, drug abuse or prohibition, MUCH more would be gained by eliminating prohibition… Marijuana should be legalized, ASAhumanlyP.
EXC point. The religious cling to life as hard as anyone, while claiming they’ll go to Heaven. Do they REALLY believe they’re going to Heaven, or ANYWHERE, except a grave? Ouch!
I’ll comment on the strip if it ever loads. In the mean time I’d just like to ask, would you all rather live a short, happy life, or a long, miserable one? Oddly enough, most people choose the latter.
The future of American business, and education, is nothing but part-timers, with NOBODY getting healthcare or retirement. If we don’t get those benefits from our jobs, where DO we get them? Business is out of control. It does not provide satisfactory options for people to live more than subsistence, hand-to-mouth lives, with no financial stability. THAT is the THIRD WORLD ECONOMY, coming soon to YOUR neighborhood.
