I don’t like it either when a show have set to dvr is preempted by a political debate, presidential speech, stupid awards show, or anything else I have no interest in.

I am not an artist by in stretch of the imagination, therefore, anything I can duplicate, I don’t consider art.

How could alcohol be invented since it is a naturally occuring substance. Perhaps, discovered would be more accurate.

I learned the hard way as a furniture restorer/refinisher that Millennials don’t want vintage or antique furniture, but would rather have junk from Ikea.

This is the only comic strip that consistently brings me a chuckle. I think it is because at my age, I can identify with it so much.

Growing up, Lima beans and cornbread was my favorite meal. I think the secret was my Mom added a little sugar. Also, we called them butter beans. Didn’t knew the term Lima beans being applied until I was an adult. I still sometimes purchase a can of Lima beans and mix them with cornbread. Also important to add pepper sauce.

Cobblers were my favorite dessert, especially blackberry.

However, I will pass on Lima bean cobbler.

I use the scissors in my multi-purpose tool. Just the right size and works better than any clippers.

I learned about this using coat hangers when I was in high school finding metal objects. I think it works with anything that conducts electricity. I experimenting, I found it worked only if the rods were in direct contact with the skin of the hands. It would not work if I wore gloves. I also measured a small voltage of electricity by connecting a digital voltmeter to the rods. Therefore, I assume there is an electromagnetic force developed using body chemistry that acts as a battery.
