I hate to rain on the parade but…

At least some of those aren’t monkeys. Monkeys have tails the one hanging on the curtain clearly has no tail. Nor do I see a tail attached to any of the others.

To me most look like chimpanzees. But the one on the curtain has a bare but which suggests baboon.

So to the 1,000 indeterminate (perhaps great) apes….?

No, but it does affect how carefully you pack your parachute for the next jump.

Yeah, the USN screwed the pooch for sure. LCS and Ford are disasters. Definitely a reflection on poor program management, pie in the sky goal, less than adequate build infrastructure, and probably not a little bit of corruption.

F-35 had it’s teething problems but it’s apparently ready for prime time there are about a dozen foreign buyers including Israel and multiple in Europe. Everything points to the fact that it’s one of the best ever. But, sure, the detractors point out the issued from years ago because, you know, things never get better.

That said, we can afford it if we don’t give a way $Billions to pay people to not work, shut the country down insuring poverty for all, give $Billions to dubious causes and countries that hate us, and let unknown millions of people enter the country, some of whom are likely terrorists, with full benefits. But nope, buying those votes is more import the the ONE THING the federal government is there for: defending the country against potential foes. You don’t do that with a militia, it, unfortunately, takes a standing army with weapons well maintained and training to use such. Takes money.

    Okay….

How many of you “Experts” have actually served in the military? Know anyone who currently serves? Know anyone who ever has? Talked with anyone who has, exchanging more than pleasantries?

Barring that, any of you “Experts” ever actually learn how to design and build things? Aircraft? Ships? Toasters?

    Show of hands, I’ll wait….

Oh for me, yes on all acounts…except toasters, I did medical instead.

    I’m waiting…

So your premise that there’s only one guy out of all of them that took classified documents on purpose? Wow. It’s a good thing there’s only one feckless, arrogant, narcisistic politician around or we’d be in real trouble.

The real issue is that the senior leadership is not held accountable, be it any party, and treat highly classified documents like it was Reader’s Digest. Anyone lower in the organization has to very carefully log stuff in and out and woe to them if it turns up missing.

It’s not hard to log stuff going into the White House and who has control over it. If the person who has control leaves, he has to produce the documents and you sign them back over. It is not a hard concept. Thousands of people do this every day in the military and intelligence community.
