My brother was a bit clumsy and had a knack for cutting himself bad enough to require stitches. One time he hit his head pretty bad and we all trundle down to the ER to get him sewn up, no big deal for any of us at this point. Got a clearly newish doc and I don’t know what he started to do, but my 10yr old brother looks at him and says, “what you want to do is actually use that one first, and then that one, before you do that one, and then it doesn’t hurt as bad,” as he points to things on the tray. The doc looked kinda skeptical but shot a glance toward the nurse; she laughed and said “he’s right.”
Well, we’re all out of cricket. We didn’t expect there to be such a rush.
