Been there. done that. We et more ice than snow and I’ll happily shovel snow if that means avoiding ice. The one good thing about this time of year is longjohns or thermal underwear – they do add bulk to clothes. Has your power withstood the weather? I saw on the news that NYC declared a drought, first time in 20 years. We are currently counting tornadoes – 13 over week-end and Monday. We are the third highest year in number – officially @ 137 with several others pending official status. Take care!
I would spend the money – pattern modification is only expensive the first time. I did my own for years – was good enough that I made men’s custom suits, as well. :-) If you haven’t bought boys clothes before, you will be in for an awesome surprise!
The boys department – better made, cheaper and fit slim bodies for jeans and t-shirts. Dressier clothes are going to require a skilled seamstress who cam modify patterns and make clothes that fit.
I stopped watching him after seeing the real person … am now wondering if his real self is what got him cancelled. That is all I’m going to say, too. :-)
I’m so glad you are fine! I have one in a new litter that is absolutely fearless – chases my toes and wants to be petted! I spent time watching them climb on lattice in my deck lattice and going about a foot up the tree … so cute!
My morning started with sirens going off 4 times between o6:10 and 06:38; then the tornado watch ended at 06:45 and it stayed quiet; the horrible second wave that was supposed to sit at 10:00 didn’t because the line of storms headed your way – great for us and lift me worried about you and your ferals. (Mine were soaked.) I did get another 1.25" of rain. Hope you are okay, too!
I loss everything I typed when I hit the wrong key – no time to redo before need to get computer turned off. Power held up except for one brown out overnite; briefly lost cable 4 times. I have received 3.4" so far with another inch expected. I saw one one of the storms was headed your way – hope you make it with no problems!
